In 2017, INIT's North American headquarter in Chesapeake, Virginia has been awarded the 2017 Chesapeake Business of the Year Award by the Chesapeake Economic Development Authority. Company growth, community involvement and investment in the City of Chesapeake played a role in the Authority’s decision to award INIT. Company culture was also a favorable factor. Carl Commons, Executive Director of Sales, and Ann Derby, Director of Marketing and Events, received the award at the 17th Annual Chesapeake Business Appreciation Cookout, a traditional golf tournament.
