The Communauté d’Agglomération du Grand Avignon set various goals as part of its urban transportation policy. These were to improve public transport accessibility for the 180,000+ inhabitants of the city’s 13 municipalities, while also preserving the local economy, the environment and the quality of life for residents. They chose INIT to equip public transport company, Transport en Commun de la Région d’Avignon (TCRA) with a new Intermodal Transport Control System (ITCS) and a TETRA digital radio system.
