INIT Innovative Informatikanwendungen in Transport-, Verkehrs- und Leitsystemen GmbH

ITCS expert panel of the German Transport Association VDV (Verband Deutscher Verkehrsunternehmen)

 

The award honors innovative achievements in the field of Intermodal Transport Control Systems (ITCS). The prize was awarded in 2009 for the new feature “online detour”. The jury based their decision on the fact that the feature is a practice-oriented and user-directed function for “incident management”. INIT’s innovation allows dispatchers to respond to current disturbances and to generate detours easily on the spur of the moment on the map display.
