In 1989, only six years after its foundation, INIT received the Innovation Award from the federal state of Baden-Wuerttemberg – back then called Dr. Rudolf Eberle Preis. Every year, this award honors mid-sized companies for outstanding efforts in the area of developing and using new technologies.
