New Gen: Interview with Tobias Knoblauch

What's your name and what do you do at INIT?

My name is Tobias Knoblauch, I‘m 21 years old and live in Karlsruhe. I started at INIT on October 4, 2021.

During my practical phases at INIT, I worked as a dual student at the Karlsruhe site and have so far mainly got to know the two areas of Proposal Management and Projects and System Engineering. In the theoretical phases, however, I study at the DHBW Karlsruhe on the industrial engineering course and am currently in the second year of my studies. I usually spend three months at INIT and then three months at DHBW.

What do you enjoy most about working here?

In addition to the very pleasant working atmosphere, I really enjoy various sporting activities such as playing soccer or volleyball together. I also appreciate being able to take on more and more responsibility the longer I work here.

What would you tell a friend about why you should join INIT?

As a Karlsruhe-based company in the midst of an evolving sector, INIT will become even more relevant in the future, making it exciting to work on tomorrow's solutions. The meaningfulness of the work and being able to make a significant contribution to global sustainability is a great incentive to working here.
